Sharing some of mom's salsa. They had each just eaten a piece of their Easter candy and Libby's mouth is blue. When Kolbe picks out his piece he methodically looks at every piece contemplating what would taste the best to him at that time. Libby just grabs the first piece she can reach and has it eaten before Kolbe has made his decision. Usually he tries to eat his piece slowly and enjoy it and she finishes hers quickly and starts bugging him for a bite of his.

Kolbe ran outside to bring in the recycling tub after the "recycling guys" emptied it. He is such a big helper! In the background you can see Jeff's spring break project, scraping the house. It will hopefully get painted EARLY this summer.
Libby is looking out the window watching for the next big event outside... Trash guys, mail lady, fedex truck... That is pure excitement. Both kids watch from this chair, usually a big fight ensues and they miss the entire thing.

Here are a few pictures from Addison's birthday party. She turned 2. I think Kolbe and Libby ate 5 hotdogs between the two of them. Needless to say after the hotdogs, as well as other food, they were not too hungry for cake.

As you can see, Libby did manage to shove some in.

Last weekend was our "annual" fire station visit. We got to see a fireman dressed in all the gear, the inside of the big trucks, as well as where the firemen (and women) eat and sleep inside the fire station. The kids got their very own fire cheif's hats.
