We have been spending tons of time outside these past few weeks. The weather has been wonderful!!! A week ago Saturday Kolbe went to one of his classmates bithday party. He had a fun time at the "princess party."
Later that same Saturday we celebrated cousin Addison's birthday. The party was at a gynmastics gym. Kolbe and Libby loved the foam pit.

She's her father's daughter... A few days ago Jeff had on the nightly news and Libby noticed a familiar face. "There's Barack Obama" she announced. When Jeff told me the story I couldn't believe him, neither one of us has told her who Barack is. This morning she turned on tv and it happened to be on Good Morning America, or one of those shows. Again she saw Barack and told us who he was. For some reason she doesn't recognize Hillary. Aunt Janelle probably covers Libby's eyes if Hillary is on tv. :) Jeff says Barack has been campaigning to a young demographic, but 2-3 year olds?!?

Good news! Baby's head is down and in position. The doctor said it is unlikely to flip at this point. We still have 9 weeks to go. This morning Kolbe came up into our bed and felt "Squirt's" head and what we thought was the back. The doctor confirmed that is what we were feeling. Kolbe was pretty excited.

This weekend was eventful. We took a trip up to Lincoln to see Gma and Gpa B. The kids had a great time doing puzzles and drawing pictures to give to Gpa. He recognized all of us right away and is communicating very well. He is starting to walk short distances using a walker and is pulling himself up out of bed with a minimum of assistance.

Saturday morning I took the kids to the children's museum in Lincoln. They had a great time. The museum had several water exhibits to play with, dress up clothes, a real, albeit small, airplane to climb into and maneuver controls in, arts and crafts, and lots of other fun areas for kids. We were there for almost 3 hours. Unfortunately I did not take any pictures. Trying to keep up with 2 kids in a place like that I needed to keep my hands free!!!

Libby looked so cute I had to get her picture!!! Last night we went to a fundraising dinner at Jeff's school. The kids wanted to show off their face-paintings.
Kolbe even got a bracelet tatoo.
